2025 Honda Odyssey
It may seem that the minivan’s time is over, but not if the Honda Odyssey has something to say about it. This quintessential family vehicle is loaded with features that make road trips more enjoyable, plus it can tow up to 3,500 pounds. Besides a full suite of standard driver-assist technologies, an in-car PA system is available, as are a CabinWatch rear seat monitor and a rear entertainment system. For the 2025 model year, the Odyssey shows off a stylish new grille and redesigned front and rear fascia that highlight its wide, confident stance. Honda has also added new wheel designs and two eye-catching paint colors, Smoke Blue Pearl and Solar Silver Metallic. Inside, every ‘25 Odyssey is packed with standard tech enhancements like a 9-inch color touchscreen, wireless versions of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a fresh 7-inch digital instrument display, and standard wireless phone charging. Even the available rear entertainment system has been revamped with a 12.8-inch high-resolution screen that’s sure to hold passengers’ attention on road trips.

Trims, Powertrain, and Fuel Economy
The ‘25 Odyssey has four trim levels: EX-L, Sport-L, Touring, and Elite. The lone powertrain is a 3.5-liter V6 and a 10-speed automatic transmission that makes 280 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque. A properly equipped Odyssey can tow as much as 3,500 pounds. All trims achieve EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings of 19 mpg in city driving and 28 mpg on the highway. The entire lineup gets a front-wheel drivetrain and intelligent traction management with a snow mode.

On the inside, the EX-L has a leather-wrapped steering wheel, tri-zone automatic climate control with second-row controls, leather upholstery (first and second rows), heated front seats, rear-seat heater ducts, a 12-way power driver’s seat with memory settings, an 8-way power passenger’s seat, Magic Slide second-row outboard seats, a multi-function second-row center seat, a one-motion 60/40 third-row Magic Seat, blue ambient cabin lighting, a wireless phone charger, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, HomeLink, second-row sunshades, a USB smartphone/audio interface, three USB-C charging ports (one front/two second row), and three 12-volt power outlets (front/third row/cargo area).
Active Driving Aids
Every ‘25 Odyssey is equipped with the Honda Sensing bundle of driver-assist technologies. This safety-enhancing suite consists of forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, a driver attention monitor, a blind-spot information system with cross-traffic monitor, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, road departure mitigation, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high-beams. As the most loaded trims, the Touring and Elite also get front and rear parking sensors.
Multimedia and Connectivity
The multimedia and connectivity features for all 2025 Odysseys include a 9-inch color touchscreen, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink and streaming audio, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, SMS text messaging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, HD Radio, SiriusXM, a radio data system, HondaLink, and CabinControl compatibility, which allows a person to remotely access certain infotainment features from their smart device.
