2025 Honda Accord Sedan
In addition to its timeless designs, the Accord is a perennial favorite in the categories of rear legroom, cargo/trunk space, and resale value. It provides a perfect balance of power and efficiency, and drivers would be hard-pressed to find a sedan with as many standard safety technologies. These are the main reasons that the Accord has been the best-selling car in America for the past 50 years. It packs in even more value with the inclusion of the Honda Service Pass complimentary maintenance program, providing tire rotations, oil/filter changes, and multipoint inspections for two years or 24,000 miles.
In changes for 2025, every Accord now has rear climate controls and two USB-C ports for the backseat passengers. Honda has also replaced the EX with a sporty SE trim, which counts among its amenities heated front seats, a power moonroof, and a special exterior with a dark effect on its 17-inch alloy wheels, window trim, mirror caps, and roof-mounted shark-fin antenna. Note that the ‘25 Accord is also available as a gas-electric hybrid; for more information on that variant, please see our separate overview.

Trims and Powertrain
The ‘25 Accord’s simplified lineup contains just two trims, the LX and SE. They’re driven by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which is accompanied by a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a front-wheel drivetrain. This powerplant has an output of 192 horsepower and 192 lb.-ft. of torque. According to the EPA’s official fuel economy determinations, both trims achieve 29 miles per gallon in city driving and 37 mpg on the highway.
Standard Features
The LX is a well-outfitted entry-level trim with remote start, automatic climate control, a 10.2-inch driver information interface, three USB ports (one front/two rear), a 12-volt power outlet, a fold-down rear seatback with a center armrest, power side-view mirrors, a security system with remote entry and self-opening trunk release, Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock, and LED lighting throughout (automatic on/off headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights). It’s styled with either gray or black cloth upholstery and 17-inch silver-painted alloy wheels. It’s eligible for the optional HPD (Honda Performance Development) Styling Package, which adds 19-inch black alloy wheels, an underbody spoiler kit, door mirror covers, a decklid spoiler, and HPD badging.
The SE comes with a power moonroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, a 10-way power driver’s seat, a 60/40 split fold-down rear seatback with a center armrest. Its fabric upholstery comes in black only, as do its 17-inch alloy wheels.
Advanced Driver Aids
Honda Sensing comes standard on both ’25 Accord trims. This driver-assistance technology suite helps to enhance awareness and prevent collisions with adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, road departure mitigation, driver attention monitor, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high-beams. Rear seat reminder also comes standard to alert the driver if a passenger or pet is left in the back seat when the vehicle is parked. As the higher trim level, the SE adds a standard blind spot information system.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The multimedia system in the 2025 Accord uses a 7-inch color touchscreen to manage a Wi-Fi hotspot, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SMS text messaging, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink and audio streaming, and access to HondaLink subscription services. For audio, the LX gets a 160-watt, four-speaker system, while the SE advances to a 180-watt sound system with eight speakers.
