2026 Honda
Civic Si

The second part of the Civic Si’s name stands for sport-injected, and it’s Honda’s way of paying homage to a storied track record (literally) within its non-racing fleet of vehicles. From its aggressive styling to its performance-minded hardware, the 2026 Civic Si is built for those who truly enjoy driving but don’t want to overspend. It stands apart in that it’s one of the last remaining new models made with a manual gearbox that’s available in the U.S.

When you factor in Honda’s Rev-Match Control, a sport-tuned suspension, a turbocharged engine, and helical limited-slip differential (LSD), and you’ll have a difficult time finding a sedan that blurs the line between practicality and performance quite like this. In true Civic fashion, the Si has first-class amenities and tech, loads of safety features, and fuel economy that can reach an EPA-estimated 37 miles per gallon.

Trim and Powertrain

The ‘26 Civic Si jumps off the line thanks to a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with Honda’s Rev-Match Control. This powertrain generates 200 horsepower and 192 lb.-ft. of torque, yet it returns an efficient 27 mpg city driving and 37 mpg on the freeway, according to the EPA official estimation. This fun-to-drive four-door has a sport-tuned suspension to promote a smooth ride, while its helical limited-slip differential helps optimize both acceleration and cornering. Plus, its dynamic lets the driver choose from three settings – Sport, Individual, and Normal – as they see fit.

Standard Equipment

There’s just one trim package for the Civic Si, and it’s a generous one. The track-inspired interior is outfitted with red-and-black cloth-upholstery with red stitching, a black headliner, “Si” logos embroidered into the front seats (which are heated), honeycomb trim along the dashboard, sport pedals, ambient lighting in red, and leather wrapping for the steering wheel and aluminum shift knob. Its other interior amenities include automatic climate control, a power moonroof, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, two front USB ports, and a 12-volt power outlet.

The Civic Si’s outer appearance differs from that of the regular Civic Sedan with sporty styling in the form of front and rear underbody spoilers, 18-inch matte-black alloy wheels, dual chrome exhaust finishers, specialized LED lighting, and a gloss-black decklid spoiler. For convenience, it has heated power-adjustable side mirrors and Smart Entry with walk away auto lock.
