2025 Honda Accord Hybrid
The Honda Accord has long been one of the most reputable midsized cars throughout its existence, and that only increased starting in 2018, when the hybrid version debuted. Besides offering its drivers the good feeling of lower fossil-fuel consumption, the 2025 Accord Hybrid achieves a remarkable 51 mpg in the city and 44 mpg on the highway. Add nice styling and a well-outfitted cabin, and it’s no wonder that this gas-electric sedan continues to build its fan base.
In changes for this new model year, a wireless phone charge pad is now standard equipment, as are heated front seats, rear AC vents, and two USB-C ports for the second row. The top-of-the-line Touring trim has also been given a heated steering wheel to ease the challenges of winter.

Powertrain Specs and Fuel Efficiency
The ’25 Accord Hybrid’s trim quartet consists of the Sport, Sport-L, EX-L, and Touring. A 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline-burning engine unites with two electric motors to form the 204-horsepower hybrid system. The mechanical specs are rounded out with an electronic continuously variable transmission (eCVT) and front-wheel drivetrain. According to the EPA, the EX-L achieves the best fuel economy at 51 mpg around town and 44 mpg on the highway. The other three trims are rated to return 46 mpg city/41 mpg highway.
Standard Equipment
The budget-friendly Sport is somewhat simple by comparison yet undeniably comfortable, getting proximity keyless entry, wireless phone charging, heated front seats, two zones of automatic climate control, auto on/off LED headlights, a power-adjustable (10-way) driver’s seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a moonroof, push-button start, a 10.2-inch driver information display, four USB-C ports (two in each row), and a 60/40-split rear seatback with a folding center armrest and cupholders. A moonroof adds appeal, as do sport pedals and gloss-black exterior accents. The Sport-L has a few additional features: a rear diffuser, leather seats, driver’s-seat position memory, and a power-adjustable (four-way) front passenger’s seat.
The EX-L goes without the sport pedals and most of the gloss-black outer elements, but it ramps up the luxury quotient with the addition of real leather upholstery, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and heated side mirrors that have turn indicators built in. Occupants of the Touring will be unfazed by the weather, thanks to ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, heated rear outboard seats, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. This top-spec trim also has a head-up display and side mirrors with passenger reverse gear tilt-down.
Advanced Safety Features
Honda Sensing, the automaker’s well-regarded suite of safety tech, is standard issue in the ’25 Accord Hybrid. It unites adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, automatic high beams, forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, lane keeping assist, traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and a driver attention monitor. Parking sensors are added to the EX-L and Touring; the latter receives low-speed braking control as well.
Connectivity and Infotainment
All trims have a 12.3-inch touchscreen multimedia system with Amazon Alexa, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and Bluetooth hands-free connectivity. The Touring is loaded, upgrading to a Google built-in system with Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play Store, plus HD Radio and a premium Bose sound system with twelve speakers. The three lower trims have a more basic yet excellent sound system with eight speakers.
