2024 Honda Passport
Nestled between the ever-popular CR-V and three-row Pilot, the Passport is the automaker’s largest two-row crossover. Honda has made notable changes to the Passport for model year 2024. The rugged TrailSport trim gets new all-terrain tires and an enhanced suspension system engineered for extra off-pavement capability. Meanwhile, the new Black Edition takes over from the Elite as the top Passport trim (the Elite is dropped). This edition features exclusive exterior and interior styling enhancements for an upscale vibe. Outside, a blacked-out theme shows itself across the grille, trim, and other surfaces for an on-trend look. At the same time, the Black Edition’s cabin provides an upscale setting with perforated leather upholstery and red contrast stitching at key touchpoints.

Honda offers Passport buyers three distinct versions: EX-L, TrailSport, and Black Edition. All of them have a 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V6, a nine-speed automatic transmission, and standard all-wheel-drive. According to the EPA, the estimated fuel economy for all three trims is 19 mpg around town and 24 mpg on the highway. The Passport can tow up to 5,000 pounds (when it’s properly equipped) and offers up to 100.8 cubic feet of cargo space (50.5 cubic feet when both rows are in use).
Standard Features
You’ll find plenty of premium features in the EX-L, such as remote start, heated front seats, leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, a ten-way power driver’s seat, a four-way power front passenger seat, a power moonroof, a power tailgate, proximity keyless entry, and a position memory system for the driver. This well-equipped base trim also gets LED exterior lighting, push-button start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, wireless device charging, a sound-reducing windshield, rear privacy glass, heated side mirrors, and 20-inch alloy wheels.

Honda Sensing is standard on every ’24 Passport. This important safety tech grouping contains forward collision warning, collision mitigation, road-departure mitigation, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, a rear-seat reminder, and front and rear parking sensors. All trims also get a full array of airbags plus anti-lock brakes, traction control, stability control, and a multi-angle rearview camera with dynamic guidelines.
Infotainment and Connectivity
An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system comes standard on all Passports, with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, SMS text messaging, and access to the HondaLink smartphone app. The EX-L and TrailSport get a seven-speaker audio system, while the Black Edition upgrades to a ten-speaker setup and adds access to a Wi-Fi hotspot.
