2024 Honda Odyssey

The fifth generation of the Odyssey continues strong into 2024, with plenty of the same equipment that makes it so popular with families. Those features include Magic Slide seats for easy access, an available rear entertainment system, the CabinWatch monitor, and the CabinTalk PA system. As a money-saving perk, buyers receive Honda Service Pass, a complimentary maintenance plan that covers minor scheduled services (oil changes, tire rotations, and multipoint inspections) for 2 years or 24,000 miles.

Trims, Powertrain, and Fuel Economy

You can choose from five 2024 Odyssey trim packages: EX, EX-L, Sport, Touring, and Elite trims. A 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine forms the powertrain with a 10-speed automatic transmission with an electronic gear selector; all trims are front-wheel drive.

As estimated by the EPA, the 2024 Odyssey delivers 19 mpg around town and 28 MPG on the highway. A properly equipped (with trailer brakes and a factory tow hitch) Odyssey can tow as much as 3,500 pounds.

Standard and Available Equipment

The EX comes standard with Magic Slide® second-row seats, heated front seats, push-button start, HondaLink, LED headlights with auto-on/off, integrated sunshades on the second-row windows, and 18-inch wheels. The EX-L adds leather seating, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual position-memory settings for the driver’s seat, an eight-way power adjustable front passenger seat with four-way power lumbar support, a power moonroof, exterior mirrors with reverse gear tilt-down and position memory, a power rear liftgate, acoustic windshield glass, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink.

The Sport features black leather seating with red stitching that matches the red stitching found on the steering wheel; it also gets red ambient interior lighting. A black grille, power side mirrors, and window trim accent this trim’s exterior, along with body-colored door handles and 19-inch gloss-black wheels. The Touring adds a rear entertainment system (with a 10.2-inch screen and a Blu-Ray player), a 115-volt outlet (front), a third-row USB charging port, Honda's CabinWatch rear-seat monitor, CabinTalk (Honda’s in-car PA system), and built-in sunshades for the third row. The Elite changes its ambient interior lighting to blue and adds wireless smartphone charging, rain-sensing wipers, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, power-folding and auto-dimming side mirrors, and a hands-free power tailgate that’s programmable for height.
