EX-L

This entry-level Pilot is packed with features not normally found on base models in this segment, with the likes of leather seats, remote start, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a moonroof. It also gets a power liftgate, push-button start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, LED headlights, Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, and heated side mirrors with turn indicators and position memory. The back row splits 60/40 and folds down with the touch of a button.

The EX-L is packed with technology as well. The standard Honda Sensing driver-assist array includes automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, parking sensors (both front and rear), lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. For staying connected and powered up, there’s wireless smartphone charging, three USB charge ports (one in the front row and two in the back row), and three 12-volt outlets, plus CabinControl allows some vehicle systems to be controlled remotely. The base infotainment setup has an 8-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a seven-speaker audio system.

TrailSport

As the brawniest Passport, the TrailSport has standard all-terrain tires, LED fog lights, and upgraded all-season floor mats. It also receives power-folding exterior mirrors, heated windshield wipers, a 115-volt power outlet, and a trim-specific interior with amber ambient interior lighting and orange contrast stitching. Voice control and navigation join the infotainment roster. This mid-grade Passport is eligible for two appearance packages – HPD Black Package and the HPD Bronze – which add special wheels, decals, fender flares, and other exterior differentiation. Its roof rails can be customized with factory crossbars and accessories for carrying specific recreational equipment, like bicycles and kayaks (the Utility Package adds crossbars and a tow hitch).

Elite

The Elite reverts to regular all-season tires and standard interior styling, with white-toned ambient interior lighting. It ramps up the luxury with a heated steering wheel, heated rear outboard seats, separate second-row climate controls, ventilated front seats, a hands-free liftgate, auto-dimming exterior mirrors, a Wi-Fi hotspot, front seatback pockets with device storage, rain-sensing wipers, and 20-inch wheels. Its audio system is upgraded as well, and it gets a total of ten speakers. Like the TrailSport, the Elite is eligible for the HPD Black and Bronze appearance packages and the Utility Package.
