Honda Owner's Workshop - October 14, 2015

General Manager, Joel Richards welcomed our guests and thanked them for their recent purchase.   Joel shared his enthusiasm for Bernardi Honda and his many years of experience with Bernardi Autogroup.

 Daniel Kelly, District Sales Manager from American Honda discussed exciting new innovations and technologies that American Honda Motor Company will be offering in the near future.  

Bernardi Honda Service Manager, Kevin Spezzano discussed the importance of maintaining your new Honda.   Kevin also informed the guests that every time you service your car at Bernardi, your vehicle receives a thorough Multi-point inspection, from our team of over 30 certified trained Honda technicians.  This is an informative "health assessment" for your vehicle, showing what service may need to be addressed now or in the future.

Erik Richards, Parts Director discussed the large inventory of OEM Honda parts that are stocked at Bernardi Honda's warehouse, and that we are one of the largest suppliers in the country.  Erik also showed examples of what the inside of a Honda oil filter vs. an aftermarket oil filter, and why it is so important to use a genuine Honda filter for your new vehicles longevity.

Parts Manager, Rob Caron, Bernardi Honda's guru on tires, spoke about the large inventory of tires that are carried at Bernardi Honda.  He also mentioned that we are the Number 1 authorized Honda Tire Center in the New England and in the top ten in the Nation. Rob explained Bernardi we honor manufactures rebates on tires, if they are available. He also stressed the importance of proper tire inflation and explained tire tread depth and how your vehicle tires respond during seasonal climate changes.

Service Director, Adam Shapiro spoke about the importance of having your oil changed at Bernardi Honda.  He passed around examples of crush washers, (drain plugs) and examples of used crush washers that are often reused at other oil change facilities.  Customers had a chance to see brake pads and rotors, and learn how important it is to maintain these vehicle parts.  Adam prepared a slide show of important maintenance tips for the guests.

Adam had the pleasure of introducing 11 Master Technicians that work for Bernardi, which is one of the largest numbers in the country.Our guests then had a chance to interact with the Master Technicians for a hands on workshop on their specific vehicles and to learn more about their vehicles features.  

Cheryl Cotter, District Service and Parts Manager for American Honda, discussed her responsibilities and enthusiasm for Honda.  She congratulated the guests for their vehicle purchase and answered questions from the guests.  

Sallie Longeri, Customer Relations for Bernardi Honda ended the evening thanking everyone for attending the very successful workshop.  She spoke of her passion for Sales and Service surveys and why the feedback is so valuable.  She thanked the many guests who attended the workshop and Bernardi Employees who helped with the event, including Chris Werner for the evening's photos.

Multiple raffle prizes were given away, including the grand prize, a remote start.
