Honda Road Departure Mitigation (RDM)
RDM alerts you when if you come too close to a detected lane marking

  • A message appears on your Honda's Multi-Information Display.
  • Steering wheel torque and vibrations are also applied to help your vehicle say in the marked lane.
  • If the lane marker that is being crossed is a solid line, braking may also be applied.
  • Should the system operate multiple times without a driver response, it will provide an alerting beep.

Honda Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
LKAS helps keep your Honda in the middle of a detected land.

If your Honda is getting too close to detected left or right side lane markings when your turn signal is not activated, LKAS will provide visual and tactile alerts. A Lane Departure message appears on the
Multi-Information Display, and the steering wheel vibrates. Steering torque is also appliedto help keep your vehicle within your driving lane.

Honda Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
CMBS can give you a visual, audible, and tactile alert when the system identifies the potential for a collision.

When the system determines a collision is unavoidable, it will reduce your vehicle speed to help minimize collision severity. It will also alert you with rapid vibrations on the steering wheel.

Honda Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system allows you to set a desired speed. It also gives you the option of maintaining a set interval from a vehicle detected directly in front of you. It allows the convenience of cruise control to be used even when there is light traffic around you.

ACC cannot detect all objects ahead and may not detect a given object; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed, and other factors. ACC should not to be used in heavy traffic, poor weather, or on winding roads.
